Project: Offshore Drilling Rig Automation
Client: Oil & Gas Exploration Company

Project Summary

ProsCon designed, built, configured/coded, tested, installed and commissioned the Utilities S7 control system and redundant Emergency Shutdown (ESD) for this offshore drilling rig. We were responsible for integration of all other control systems and the development of the rig FactoryLink SCADA.

This platform operates out of Norway in North Sea.

Overall scope included:

• Networking and Integration of all Vendor Control Systems
• Satellite Communications Link
• Electrical / Instrument Design and Panel Build
