Project: Modular Kilo Scale Pharmaceutical Production Facility
Client: Multinational Pharmaceutical Company
Project Summary
This project involved the full project life cycle, from concept phase (+/-30%), Scheme design (+/-10%) through to EPCMV for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management and Validation.
The facility is a standalone building comprising of gowning room, access airlocks, process floor and mezzanine, laboratory, dispensary, utility room, electrical & instrument room, and HVAC. The process involved 4 stages, Hydrogenation, two reactions, and filter dryer and all associated ancillary equipment, which was fully automated and validated. The plant was approx 230 sqm. The process required high containment and was heavily reliant on isolation technologies.
The total project schedule was 14 months from commencement of design to start-up of production. The facility was installed on the site in 2 days.
